The double-membrane septum design of the Vial Adaptor and Syringe Connector provides a continuous microbial barrier across repeated connections, ensuring that what goes into the syringe is exactly what was intended: nothing more, nothing less.
The EQUASHIELD® NHD Vial Adaptor securely attaches to standard vials. It offers a safe, contamination-free access point for the syringe connector. As an integral part of the EQUASHIELD® NHD system, the adaptor’s elastomeric membrane serves a dual role: acting as a microbial barrier to prevent microbial ingress while remaining free of drug residuals.
The design encapsulates the needle so it is never exposed, enhancing safety during handling. An elastomeric membrane enables dry connections and disconnections, helping prevent microbial ingress and environmental contamination from residual drugs. The system is compatible with standard IV bags and syringes available on the market.
The EQUASHIELD® NHD reconstitution transfer set, designed for use with the EQUASHIELD Mundus platform, features an aseptic fluid pathway that supports safe and efficient drug reconstitution. It enables controlled fluid transfer between components, helping maintain aseptic compounding throughout the preparation process while ensuring fast and highly accurate diluent reconstitution and consistent drug mixing.
