Inside Sales Representative

Equashield is looking for an Insides Sales Manager based out of Port Washington, New York.

Inside Sales Representative:

We are seeking a high-energy, experienced, and passionate Business Development Representative who enjoys being on the phone to identify opportunities and set meetings for others to attend to close deals. In this position you will have a critical role in the national strategic plan and growth strategy by researching business information, identifying potential leads, developing productive relationships with key decision makers at Equashield, and setting meetings with potential customers.

 

Experience Requirements and Responsibilities include:

  •  Qualified candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree;
  • Candidate should have at least 2 yrs. of proven success with phone sales and use to making 50-100 calls per day;
  • You must have a terrific and persuasive phone presence. You should like to be on the phone and talk to people you’ve never met to identify needs and set meetings. People enjoy talking to you too and listen more than they hang up;
  • You need to be able to talk intelligently about Healthcare safety, oncology drug preparation and oncology drug delivery without being an expert in them;
  • You should have the ability to generate your own contacts using various tools such as LinkedIn, hospital research etc.
  • You have a proven track record of securing meetings w/top level decision makers;
  • You can consistently make 100s of calls per week and record data accurately about those calls which means you can efficiently track information and maintain data (in the CRM) that are key indicators of performance and success in the job;
  • As part of the sales team, you are key to the national meeting sales objectives but are ok not being the one who closes the sale;
  • You consistently work effectively with the sales team and prospects to identify and communicate needs and schedule appointments;
  • You enjoy supporting marketing, advertising and promotional activities overall;
  • Don’t mind (and may even enjoy) weekly sales meetings and update meetings with the Regional Sales Manager (and others), and come prepared to present on call activity and what’s in the pipeline.

 

Basic Areas of Knowledge and Skills:

  • Great phone presence;
  • Excellent project and time management skills;
  • Great interpersonal skills with a positive and optimistic outlook;
  • Some understanding of the US Healthcare market would be great, but not required;
  • Strong research and analysis skills;
  • Organizational skills;
  • Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
