Each station within the Mundus Mini HD incorporates
a verification and validation step, effectively minimizing the likelihood of human errors.
After loading the necessary CSTD components, the Mundus Mini HD will automatically prepare the required dose. To ensure an exceptionally high level of accuracy and prevent medication errors, the validation and verification process involves calculating the amount of the Syringe Unit. This precise process increases precision and reliability in medication administration.
Using advanced machine vision and AI algorithms the Mundus Mini HD is able to verify the Syringe Unit accuracy and alert the pharmacist in case there are potential air bubbles or incorrect dose volume. The results are verified and documented in the final report which can be sent back to the hospital’s EMR system for remote verification.
